President-elect Donald Trump has appointed net-neutrality critic Roslyn Layton along with similarly-minded Jeff Eisenach and Mark Jamison to his transition team, MediaPost reports. An American Enterprise Institute visiting fellow, Layton "has been one of the most vocal critics of the Federal Communications Commission's new privacy rules, which limit broadband providers' ability to engage in online behavioral advertising," the report states. Meanwhile, David Cowan contends Trump's cybersecurity "ignorance" will be trouble for privacy and national security in an op-ed for Forbes.
