  • In written testimony he will share before the U.S. House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee Thursday, TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew will tell lawmakers the video sharing platform has "never shared, or received a request to share, U.S. user data with the Chinese government," Reuters reports. "Nor would TikTok honor such a request if one were ever made," Chew's testimony states.
  • The Wall Street Journal reports a review by cybersecurity company Feroot Security found web-tracking code made by TikTok's parent company ByteDance on 30 U.S. government websites across 27 states.
