Sweden's data protection authority, Datainspektionen, released a report on the complaints it has received since the EU General Data Protection Regulation went into effect. The DPA analyzed a random selection of 250 complaints between May 25, 2019, to May 24, 2020, and found a quarter of those complaints concerned data subject rights. Of those grievances, the most common centered around the right to deletion. The DPA found one in 10 complaints came from citizens who expressed concern around the protection of their information.
