A survey conducted by Accenture found C-suite executives need to use workforce data in a more responsible manner in order to build employee trust and generate continued revenue growth. Accenture interviewed 10,000 employees for the survey. While 92 percent of workers are open to data collection to improve their performance and surroundings, 52 percent are concerned new data sources risk damaging trust, and 64 percent said recent stories around data misuse have them concerned their data could be in danger. Accenture found companies could earn as much as $3.1 trillion in future revenue growth should they remedy these concerns.
