A study by the Australian Communications and Media Authority found 70% of Australians are concerned about privacy in new technology, ZDNet reports. The study found 80% of Australians over 65 feel overwhelmed by technological change, with 95% increasingly using the internet for banking, purchases and more. The ACMA said digital use “brings with it a range of risks and challenges — from privacy and security concerns to exposure to misinformation and disinformation, scams, online bullying, and other harms."
