The Alberta College of Paramedics reported a privacy breach in its navigation portal, possibly exposing the personal information of thousands of Alberta’s first responders, Metro News reports. A software update to the portal allowed practitioners with a username and password to log in to the database and view other responders’ information, including date of birth, name, address, phone number, email address, employment and education records, and the last four digits of a credit card. Five individuals created new accounts or logged in while the flaw was active, but it is unknown whether any information was viewed.
