Cyberinsurance policies, once primarily associated with large corporations, are now making their way into small- and medium-sized businesses, TechRepublic reports. While large corporations are more likely to become the target of a cyberattack, smaller corporations are increasingly left to find coverage in order to comply with requirements implemented when they work with larger corporate partners. Dan Singer, CFO of FairWarning, said his company hired an attorney to help navigate the policies and explained, "What is different about cyberliability coverage is all policies are not created equally," adding, "You need to make sure the cyberliabilty policy will respond to the specific needs of your business."
