Saskatchewan Information and Privacy Commissioner Ronald Kruzeniski said the COVID-19 pandemic created a new range of privacy risks as more sensitive data is handled outside of the office, the Saskatoon StarPhoenix reports. In his annual report, Kruzeniski also noted multiple reports of significant breaches of personal health information, adding his office saw a 22% increase in the number of investigations and a 44% increase in response time.
