There has been no shortage of hearings on potential federal privacy legislation in the U.S. This week was no exception, as the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation held another. But this hearing was under different circumstances, namely, it was held in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
