Politico unveiled its 2021 version of the "Tech 28," which recognizes the most powerful figures in the global technology space. A trio of privacy professionals were recognized in the "rulemakers" category, including Apple Chief Privacy Officer Jane Horvath, CIPP/G, CIPP/US, European Commission Head of International Data Flows and Protection Bruno Gencarelli, and Hunton Andrews Kurth Centre for Information Policy Leadership President Bojana Bellamy, CIPP/E. The list also included French digital rights group La Quadrature du Net, a noted EU privacy advocate.
