The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations published its conclusions from an examination of market participants' cybersecurity and operational resiliency tactics. The observations highlight specific practices organizations use to safeguard and respond to events in five areas, including governance and risk management, access rights and controls, and data loss prevention. “We felt it was critical to share these observations in order to allow organizations the opportunity to reflect on their own cybersecurity practices,” OCIE Director Peter Driscoll said.
