Facebook introduced a new tool designed to help companies comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act. When enabled, Limited Data Use will direct Facebook to "process information about people in California as the business's Service Provider." The tech company notes the tool will have an impact on campaign performance. During a brief transition period, Facebook will automatically limit the use of data businesses send about California. After July 31, businesses will need to enable the feature to continue the restrictions
