ZDNet reports the U.K. government has uncovered improper access to a database containing the personal information of 28 million children. An investigation began after betting companies inappropriately received some personal records from the Learning Records Service database. While its unknown how many children were exposed, the database held the names, ages and physical addresses of kids ages 14 and up. The Department of Education cut off access to the database after discovering the breach.
