Microsoft announced a new campaign dedicated to improving cybersecurity staffing across the U.S. The company plans to partner with community colleges around the country to help train and recruit 250,000 cybersecurity professionals into the workforce by 2025. Microsoft said the target number for professionals represents half of the workforce shortage currently facing the U.S. The plan includes free tuition, training for new and existing faculty at 150 schools, and scholarships and supplemental resources to 25,000 students.
