AdExchanger reports identity resolution provider LiveRamp has acquired consent management platform Faktor and its 11-person team. Faktor's CMP currently collects consent in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and relays it to ad tech companies. Terms of the deal were unavailable; however, LiveRamp President and Head of Products and Platforms Anneka Gupta said her company wants Faktor to become a “center of excellence” in privacy tech as more privacy legislation, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, continues to be drawn up around the world. “I have had so many conversations with brands and publishers where they feel woefully underprepared for what’s coming,” Gupta said. Meanwhile, CNBC reports French ad-holding company Publicis has acquired marketing services company Epsilon for $4.4 billion.
