Republican lawmakers introduced a bill to expand Nevada's opt-out law, The Associated Press reports. The proposed legislation would broaden the requirements of the state's opt-out law to cover websites run by government entities. Assembly Minority Leader Robin Titus, R-Nev., said she requested a bill to be drafted after reports came out regarding the third-party cookies placed on the state's COVID-19 vaccination website. Editor's note: Lyon County Law Clerk Hawah Ahmad, CIPP/E, wrote for Privacy Tracker about the passing of Nevada's opt-out law.
