The U.K. Information Commissioner's Office is imploring advertising technology companies to expedite their efforts to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation, Digiday reports. ICO Head of Technology and Policy Ali Shah urged companies to come forward with questions and requests for compliance assistance over the final four months of the ICO-mandated six-month grace period for compliance. "I’d be remiss if I didn’t say that if we don’t see meaningful change [within the next four-month window] we’ll have to leverage our full powers of enforcement," Shah said.
