The U.K. Information Commissioner's Office announced a final penalty of 20 million GBP to British Airways over EU General Data Protection Regulation violations related to a 2018 data breach involving more than 400,000 customers. The final decision marks the end of a year-plus wait since the ICO originally dealt the airline a notice of intent for a 183.39 million GBP fine.
