Information Governance and Privacy Consultant Barry Moult has been awarded the third "Practitioner Award for Excellence in Data Protection" from the U.K. Information Commissioner’s Office. Moult, former head of information governance at a National Health Service Trust, was chosen by an independent panel for his commitment to patients’ data protection rights. Information Commissioner Elizabeth Denham said Moult understands “that good data protection is a help, not a hindrance, to innovation and excellence.”
