The 41st International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners will be held in Tirana, Albania, Oct. 21 through 24. The ICDPPC announced the theme of this year's event is "Convergence and connectivity: raising global data protection standards in the digital age." The conference features public sessions, panel discussions and other side events. Keynote speakers this year include Microsoft President Brad Smith, European Data Protection Supervisor Honorary Director General Christopher Docksey and Demos Senior Fellow Jamie Bartlett. Registration for the conference ends Oct 11.
