As she prepares to launch a career in privacy law, 2021-22 IAPP Westin Scholar Award recipient Baily Martin, CIPP/US, said she finds the "puzzle" of privacy legislation and technology fascinating. Martin, who is pursuing a Master of Arts in government and a post-baccalaureate certificate in intelligence at Johns Hopkins University, spoke with IAPP Associate Editor Jennifer Bryant about the experiences — including an internship with Apple's Global Privacy and Law Enforcement Compliance Team — that enabled her to see privacy from varying perspectives and about what her future holds.
