The IAPP has released a new book, "Data Processing Agreements: Coordination, Drafting and Negotiating," which is designed to assist newer and veteran practitioners alike to better understand the particulars of drafting and negotiating data processing agreements. Produced by members of the IAPP's Privacy Bar Section and led by Executive Editor Justin Weiss, CIPP/A, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, FIP, this book references sections of the IAPP's Sample Data Processing Agreement throughout and incorporates the insights of privacy pros from companies and firms across Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceania. The book is geared toward a range of privacy pros — from those working in large multinationals to those working in startups — and offers a real-world, practical approach to this essential component in the privacy profession.
