In an op-ed for Lawfare, European Data Protection Supervisor Honorary Director General Christopher Docksey penned a response to a piece on individual redress following the "Schrems II" ruling by Georgetown University European Law Professor Kenneth Propp and Alston & Bird Senior Counsel Peter Swire, CIPP/US. While Swire and Propp argue individual redress entails "a system of administrative fact-finding and judicial review to respond to individual complaints," Docksey writes that approach is more complicated from a European perspective.
