Baden-Württemberg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information released a third-party cookie FAQ document for website operators and mobile application developers. Commissioner Stefan Brink noted a breach of civil rights, saying cookies and other trackers are "perceived as normal" for users but turned the internet and devices "into intensively monitored spaces." The document outlines, among other things, common errors found in cookie banners and examples of data protection–focused rectification.
