  • The Wall Street Journal reports Idaho-based data analytics firm Kochava sued the U.S. Federal Trade Commission over allegations the agency intended to wrongfully sue the firm for marketing geolocation data revealing abortion clinic visits. Kochava said the commission's potential legal action is a "manipulative attempt … to give the appearance that it is protecting consumer privacy despite being based on completely false pretenses."
  • The New York State Assembly is considering Assembly Bill 10677, which aims to prohibit geofencing that allows advertisers to serve targeted ads that harass abortion seekers and discourage them from going through with abortion services.
