The U.S. Federal Trade Commission will begin a series of monthly virtual public meetings starting July 1. The meetings will aim to bring about more transparency on the commission's current endeavors while allowing the public to offer feedback. The deadline to submit comments is 12 p.m. EDT June 30. Meanwhile, FTC Chair Lina Khan announced appointments for three positions, including Sam Levine as acting director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection.
