Tech Data has revealed a data leak disclosed 264 gigabytes in client and business data to the public, ZDNet reports. The leak stemmed from a log management server, which exposed private application programming interface keys, bank and payment information, usernames and unencrypted passwords. The leak was discovered June 2 and resolved June 4. In a related story, the gaming emulator website Emuparadise was hit by a data breach affecting more than 1 million player accounts. The incident occurred April 1, 2018, but was recently discovered after user information was provided to Have I Been Pwned, a site that allows users to see if their email addresses have been compromised.
