A former Apple contractor said employees were expected to listen to more than 1,000 Siri recordings during each shift, The Irish Examiner reports. Contractors were tasked to “grade” each recording based on different criteria, such as whether Siri was activated accidentally or if the system could not fulfill the request. Apple recently announced it would no longer review Siri recordings over privacy concerns. “Mostly it was users with Canadian, Australian or UK accents and there was a smaller team working on users with European languages.”
