Ahead of the British Online Safety Bill and the EU Digital Services Act passing, Facebook is set to hire a number of lobbyists and regulatory specialists, along with a privacy policy manager, in preparation for negotiations, Politico reports. Facebook’s lobbying team will be led by former U.K. Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, who was promoted to president of global affairs of the company in February.
