The Financial Times reports the European Commission is awaiting responses from Facebook and the Libra Association on various questions about its proposed operations, including some on data privacy. Within its questionnaire, the commission asked how Facebook intends to protect customer data associated with Libra. The questions are part of EU Financial Services Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis' examination of how to approach Libra and other projects like it from a regulatory standpoint and whether Facebook's project should be allowed to operate in the EU.
