The European Data Protection Board adopted guidelines during its 39th plenary session on relevant and reasoned objection that will help streamline procedures related to Article 65 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. “The guidelines aim to establish a common understanding of the notion ‘relevant and reasoned,’ including what should be taken into consideration when assessing whether an objection ‘clearly demonstrates the significance of the risks posed by the draft decision,’” an EDPB news release said.
