The Dutch data protection authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, announced it has begun an investigation into EU General Data Protection Regulation compliance of automobile manufacturers. The AP's examination will focus on whether manufacturers have violated the law with their work on connected vehicles. The goal is to have a report on the investigation done before the summer, but the AP admits the release may be delayed by the effects of COVID-19. (Original post is in Dutch.)
