The Danish data protection authority fined the Gladsaxe and Hørsholm municipalities DKK 100,000 and DKK 50,000, respectively, for not complying with EU General Data Protection Regulation security requirements. Each municipality reported a data breach when a computer, unprotected by encryption and containing sensitive personal data, was stolen. In Norway, DPA sent notice of a violation fee of DKK 800,000 to the Rælingen municipality after health information of 15 children with physical and mental disabilities was processed in a digital learning platform.
