The Danish data protection authority fined the Gladsaxe and Hørsholm municipalities DKK 100,000 and DKK 50,000, respectively, for not complying with EU General Data Protection Regulation security requirements. Each municipality reported a data breach when a computer, unprotected by encryption and containing sensitive personal data, was stolen.
