BBB National Programs’ Digital Advertising Accountability Program announced it brought mobile apps GoodRx and Rock My World into compliance with the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Self-Regulatory Principles. The health care and exercise apps “each updated their privacy disclosures to meet interest-based advertising data privacy requirements,” according to BBB National Programs. GoodRx’s changes included adding an “enhanced notice” link to pages where third parties collect cookie data, while Rock My World added a notice about targeted advertising, including an opt-out tool.
