The digital innovation laboratory, LINC, of France's data protection authority, Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, published its work program for 2022 and 2023. The program has four priorities: assessing data protection’s impact on environmental protection, the data economy, user practices and perceptions on a daily basis, and new forms of collecting data. LINC digital sociologist Antoine Courmont said the lab’s role is to “apprehend innovations, explore digital uses, propose forward thinking, conduct experiments and build tools for the CNIL, organizations and individuals.”
