Budget airline Cebu Pacific temporarily shut down its server after it discovered an unauthorized user had gained access to its rewards platform, GetGo, Rappler reports. In a statement, the company reported the GetGo application server was breached the night of Wednesday, April 24. The company also confirmed that the server has since been secured and that no credit card information was stored on the exposed server. Philippines Privacy Commissioner Raymond Liboro confirmed the company reported the data breach and noted, "We have instructed Evangelista to personally report tomorrow (Friday, April 26) to the NPC complaints and investigation team."
