Italian web hosting firm Aruba.it disclosed an April data breach exposed customer billing and personal data, The Daily Swig reports. Affected data included names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses. Encrypted hashes of customer passwords were also exposed. Aruba.it said it reset passwords upon identifying unauthorized access, launched an investigation and notified authorities and Italy’s personal data protection authority, the Garante. Customers were notified when the investigation was concluded, the company said.
