Amazon Web Services announced it has made its Translate, Comprehend and Transcribe platforms HIPAA compliant, VentureBeat reports. The three platforms use artificial intelligence to transcribe text from audio files, interpret foreign languages and take other elements from unstructured text. AWS allowed other platforms to handle personal health information, but now with this move, all of its services are compliant with the health care regulation. “By using these services, AWS customers in the healthcare industry can leverage data insights to deliver better outcomes for providers and patients using the power of machine learning,” said AWS General Manager for Machine Learning and AI Vasi Philomin.
