Google has updated its privacy policy to give users more control over assistant voice recordings, ZDNet reports. The update is in response to user concerns about Google listening to snippets of recordings gathered from devices using Google Assistant. "It's clear that we fell short of our high standards in making it easy for you to understand how your data is used, and we apologize," Google Assistant Senior Product Manager Nino Tasca wrote in a blog post. Meanwhile, CNET reports Amazon plans to unveil Alexa-powered wearables, including earbuds and glasses, despite privacy concerns with the voice assistant.
