Details of 40 million Wishbone app users have been leaked on a hacking forum and are being offered as a free download, ZDNet reports. Exposed data includes usernames, emails, phone numbers and hashed passwords. Also, the source of an open Elasticsearch database that exposed approximately 23 million email addresses and other personal details has been identified as belonging to the Covve address book app. And, meal delivery service Home Chef confirmed a data breach affecting 8 million customer names, email addresses, phone numbers and scrambled passwords. Meanwhile, the personal information of unemployment applicants has been exposed in Ohio, Colorado and Arkansas.
