Anne Fealey

Global Chief Privacy Officer

I worked with a fantastic group of people during my tenure as one of the IAPP NYC KnowledgeNet chairs, and while it’s difficult to choose one “best” experience, organizing and moderating our chapter’s annual “Women Leading Privacy” event represented a highlight for me.  Our panelists showcased what’s best about the privacy profession – our ethics, our collaboration, and our support of each other – and shared their experiences around how they become the accomplished privacy professionals that they are.  Attendees lingered long after the event to speak with our panelists about the differences between the typical male and female communication styles and how to recognize (and embrace) those differences, and the strongest feedback from everyone was that they learned something new.  It doesn’t get better than that.
