About the IAPP

Ann-sophie De Graeve joined UCB in 2018 as Senior Legal Counsel Digital Health and Data Protection.

Before joining UCB, Ann-Sophie was part of Allen& Overy’s TMT Practice in Antwerp and Osborne Clarke’s data protection practice in Brussels. She has over ten years of experience and specializes in everything data protection, with a particular focus on the healthcare sector. At UCB, Ann-Sophie works closely together with the DPO’s (compliance) team and is responsible for drafting and driving forward the strategic legal aspects of UCB’s global data protection program and overseeing the GDPR aspects of digital health projects.

Ann-Sophie regularly presents and publishes on data protection related matters (topics including big data & artificial intelligence and health wearables).

Ann-Sophie graduated from the University of Ghent and holds an LL.M. degree from the University of Virginia (Charlottesville, USA).
