Victorino J. Tejera, PhD currently works as Privacy & Security Counsel with the Latin-America Division of Oracle Corp., overseeing all P&S matters in the region and reporting to Oracle’s Global Data Protection Officer. Prior to joining Oracle, Victorino was a junior partner and co-head of the litigation and arbitration practice group at the Caracas Office of Macleod Dixon (currently Dentons Law) where he worked for ten years. Victorino obtained his PhD from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Switzerland) as well as his Master in Dispute Settlement from the same Institute and the University of Geneva. Prior to his studies in Switzerland, Victorino had obtained his Master in Private International and Comparative Law from the Universidad Central de Venezuela, his Master of Law from Tulane University Law School as well as his Law Degree (Abogado) from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.
