About the IAPP

Zachary Klein is a Deputy Attorney General at the New Jersey Attorney General's Office.  Mr. Klein serves in the Affirmative Civil Enforcement Practice Group, focusing on consumer fraud, false claims, and data privacy matters.  He conducts internet privacy and data security investigations, and enforces State UDAP and data breach notification laws, and federal statutes such as HIPAA, COPPA, and GLBA.  Mr. Klein's efforts have led to settlement recoveries and amended business practices regarding consumer data.  In the near future, he will be joining the Division of Law's newly-formed Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Section.  A graduate of Tufts University and Rutgers Law School, Mr. Klein is admitted to the NJ and NY bar.
