About the IAPP

Lars Kripko is Senior Privacy Officer at Cornerstone onDemand, a global leading HR SaaS provider. As a senior member of the global Data Protection Officers team, he supports the improvement of internal policies, processes and systems from a data protection perspective, takes active part in Cornerstone’s product development and is in permanent exchange with clients and prospects to explain HR software functionalities with privacy impact, technical and organizational measures to support security and privacy of client data as well as collecting feedback regarding clients business processes and their requirements to improve privacy in processing of HR data. 

Lars served in previous positions as an external Data Protection Officer and Consultant for Data Protection and Security for several companies in different sectors. He started its privacy career by studying business and law at a University of applied science, finalized with a diploma thesis about the data protection audit in 2003. Audit as a tool of self-regulation was a huge topic for German lawmakers back in the days.
