About the IAPP

James Katavolos is a Senior Vice President with Citigroup where he manages a global team for the Citi Cyber Intelligence Center, including staff in the US, Europe, and Asia.  James is actively involved in sector-wide efforts to improve cyber threat information sharing and public-private collaboration.  James serves as the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council's (FSSCC) Intelligence Community liaison and is an advisor to the Board of Directors of the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC). James also co-chairs the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) Financial Threats Task Force.  Prior to joining Citigroup, James was with Booz Allen Hamilton supporting clients at the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Intelligence & Analysis, the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integrations Center, and the US Treasury's Office of Foreign Asset Control.  He holds a Master's degree in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
