About the IAPP

Roger has more than a decade’s experience protecting organisational assets from cyber threats for both public and private sector clients. He is a seasoned security leader with a proven track record in security governance, risk management, security operations, and security program development.  He is currently leading the Mandiant Cyber Insurance services offering in EMEA, as well as helping clients develop and mature their SOC/CIRT capabilities in order to effectively respond to advanced persistent threats. He regularly talks at security events on behalf of Mandiant, focusing discussions on advanced attacker capabilities and real-world use cases.  Prior to joining Mandiant Roger was a Services Director at Intel Security in the United States, overseeing the Intel Security Penetration Services and responsible for services delivery in both the North and South Central regions. During his career he has cultivated a broad range of practical information security skills that cover the gambit from technical penetration testing through to strategic security program development.
