About the IAPP

Friederike van der Jagt is an independent privacy and data protection lawyer at Hunter Legal in Amsterdam with over a decade of experience in the privacy and data protection field. Before starting her own business, Friederike worked at two large Dutch law firms and as a Senior Legal Counsel Privacy at an international cybersecurity software company. She regularly speaks and publishes on privacy related matters, is one of the editors of the Dutch SDU Data Protection Case Law Journal and the author of Wolters Kluwer’s Dutch GDPR theme page. Friederike is a member of the Independent Privacy Advisory Committee of the municipality of Amsterdam as well as a board member of the Dutch Lawyers Association. She is a senior lecturer in the Grotius specialization course in Privacy Law and a lecturer in privacy at the Professional Law Practice Training Foundation.
