About the IAPP

James (Jim) Goldman is currently Vice President Trust, Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Prior to joining Salesforce, Jim served as Professor and Head of the Purdue Malware Lab in the Department of Computer and Information Technology at Purdue University where he founded the Network Engineering Technology program. 



Jim has over 20 years of experience in network engineering, security, and computer crime investigation.  Jim is a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) with advanced training in computer forensics. He served as a Task Force Officer detailed to the FBI Cyber Crime Task Force.  He is an internationally published author with market leading textbooks in data communications and networking.
