About the IAPP

Sheryl Ann Yamuder is Global Chief Privacy Counsel for Fiserv, Inc., where she advises on the impact of the evolving regulatory landscape on corporate strategy and business initiatives and ensures compliance with privacy and data security regulations globally.  Sheryl Ann leads a team of attorneys that provides privacy guidance to technology teams, internal operations and business units within Fiserv; implementing privacy by design for development of digital payment technology, fraud-related services, data analytics and other financial products and services. She creates corporate policies and procedures for managing and utilizing NPI , PHI and other sensitive data. Sheryl Ann previously held senior level positions providing counsel in the areas of privacy, data security, digital media and technology, including as Senior Managing Counsel, Privacy and Data Protection for Mastercard and Global Marketing and Privacy Counsel for Spotify Inc. Prior to those roles, she focused on intellectual property in the television and publishing industries for the National Geographic Society. A graduate of Cardozo School of Law, Sheryl Ann received her undergraduate degree from Boston University.
